design consultation
A 45-minute working session. We'll dig into your space + diagnose design friction + find solutions that create ease. We can explore a single space where we do a deep dive together to look at functionality. Or if you have a few questions that are aesthetically driven, that is also a great use of this time. You can be starting a project, navigating the middle, or refining the final details.
Need more than one session? Ask about bundling multiple.
we can explore:
-
layered lighting
-
room circulation
-
your personal style
-
paint color selection
-
open concept zoning
-
restyling existing pieces
-
enhance hobby + routines

entrées
space analysis
Like any good meal, the services are built around an Entrée. I like to think of this as the design clarity phase. I analyze the space to support your living, with a human behavior lens. I'll address concerns to improve friction and function throughout the space. This is where we get realistic about how the space can work for you and address your pain points.
During this phase, I seek to have an open dialogue around the current + desired routines in the space. This allows me to tailor the design to you + interrogate what aspects need addressing to reinforce the ideal function of the space.

sides & dessert
space enhancements, revisions + visualization
This second phase I hunker down + get designing to provide actionable plans. I'll take an abstract vision + turn it into the necessary documents needed to compile the elements that bring more ease, energy + comfort into your home.
sides are the functional pieces you need to put the plan in action and the dessert is the visual representation that communicates the direction. As most meals, Dessert isn't necessary but, often is a source of comfort and is encouraged for those wanting a clear 'picture' before execution.

Not sure which Entrée best suits what you're looking for? For any room that doesn't fit neatly into one of these categories (office, mudroom, etc) use bedroom as a placeholder. Depending on what Side(s) you're pairing with the space will influence what is necessary moving forward. Most often, we'll stick with the bedroom selection!
If you're not confident on which Sides might be appropriate for your design project, I further outline these in the frequently asked questions. You'll also find a behind the scenes video of me working in a 3D rendering software to get a sense of the power a visual aid can have, if you're curious about the Dessert. I'm always available to answer questions too, just book Nibble!
